Asia Special 2016
There were two main events during the week of celebration for the 25th anniversary of the EoC in the Philippines: the EoC International Youth Forum on 23-24 May 2016 at the University of Sto Tomas in Manila and the Pan-Asian EoC Congress 2016 "Economy of Communion, An Economy for All" which was held in Tagaytay City from 25 to 29 May. Prophetic Economy
#ProfeticEconomy is much more than a three-day event, it is a journey undertaken by associations and movements that intend to give answers to the cry of the earth and the poor together. Our world is facing an ecological and social crisis. Climate change and increasing inequality are fuelled by unjust economic structures, short-term policies and outdated aid practices.
Many people around the world believe passionately in human development and sustainability, working tirelessly to change the rules and demand justice. It is time to unite and be more than the sum of our parts.
#ProfeticEconomy is going to be an experience and the beginning of a process: our intention is to stimulate inventiveness, confrontation and creativity in search of sustainable and collective solutions to the social and environmental problems of our time, with particular attention to the poorest.
EoC events in Brazil
Special Section on Nairobi 2015
We are now in the midst of preparations for the next global EoC events to be held in Nairobi, Kenya, in the month of May.
There will be two events: the pdf EoC International Congress (367 KB) entitled: "Yes to an Economy of Communion" in Nairobi (from 27 to 31 May 2015) and the “School for Young People” that will take place immediately before (22-26 May 2015) at the Mariapolis Piero, 40 km from Nairobi.

Special Section on Brazil
Twenty years of the EoC in Brazil was an important anniversary, not just for evaluating the past, but mostly in looking towards the future, the next twenty years, from 2011 to 2031. On this page, we want to give you an account of the two important events that took place on this occasion:
The International EoC Assembly "Protagonists today of a new economy", from May 25-28, 2011 - Mariapolis Ginetta (Vargem Grande Paulista), and the concluding even on May 29, 2011 - Hall of the Latin America Memorial (Sao Paulo) - "The Prophecy makes history. Twenty years of the Economy of Communion".
