The CHARIS ARGENTINA FOUNDATION was established in 2019 with the aim of supporting the reorganization and evaluation of the work of religious congregations and organizations inspired by ideals. This foundation, made up of entrepreneurs from the Economy of Communion, took on the continuity of the Padre Pedro Leonardi Kindergarten founded by the Daughters of Jesus of Verona. Responding to a request from the Focolare Movement regarding the future of the Mariapolis Center in José C. Paz, and in response to the educational needs of the neighborhood, the foundation created the Chiara Lubich Primary School in 2022 and recently the Secondary School in 2025. This educational project is inspired by the pedagogy of communion. José C. Paz is the fifth district in the Province of Buenos Aires with the highest educational vulnerability due to the lack of school infrastructure, high repetition rates, and school dropouts. It is precisely these indicators that motivated the initiative. From an organizational point of view, the Foundation sees itself as an institution inspired by the values of the Economy of Communion. It promotes community growth, subsidiary management, transparency in the management of resources, and the dynamics of sharing. A school built with the best possible facilities and equipment to provide first-rate education in these vulnerable communities, with the support of the entire local Economy of Communion Network and always keeping in mind the value of providence, without which none of what has been done so far could have been achieved.
