Season's greetings for Christmas 2025 from the International Commission and the EoC Staff
Christmas is a great symbol of newness. It is the story of a child who came to bring “good news” never heard before: the King born in a suburb.
Newness also arises for us when we get up, move around, and look at things from the perspective of another place. New questions arise in us.
The experience we hope to have together in this new year is to let new questions arise in us, looking at things from another perspective, seeking answers together to today's challenges, but never again alone. This is the newness! It is not a matter of multiplying social projects but of letting gestures of communion animate our lives, including our economic lives, transforming them from the roots.
This is the meaning of the event we will experience together in May 2026 on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the EoC: to open ourselves to the beauty of an encounter that can change our lives. Even ours.
