On July 25 and 26, 2025, the Mariapolis Ginetta Events Center in Vargem Grande Paulista (SP) will host another edition of the National Forum on the Economy of Communion. The meeting, promoted annually by the Brazilian eoc, will bring together entrepreneurial leaders, students, researchers and agents of transformation from different regions of Brazil with the aim of reflecting on and experiencing new ways of thinking and acting economically.
With the theme “Working in Communion: a culture that transforms lives”, the 2025 Forum invites the public to revisit the meaning of work as an expression of purpose and transformation - individual, organizational and social.Jomery Nery, president of Anpecom (National Association for an Economy of Communion), the legal entity of eoc in Brazil, says:
“The proposal stems from the conviction that work can be more than a means of subsistence:it can be a tool for personal fulfillment, building more human relationships in organizations and an instrument for collective change”
The program will be structured in three interconnected dimensions. In the individual sphere, the dialogues and activities will seek to value work as a path that leads to finding one's purpose in life. In the organizational field, we will address corporate culture and the exchanges will focus on business models based on communion, promoting corporate practices guided by empathy, collaboration and justice. In the social sphere, the transformative power of organizations that work for social and economic regeneration in the places where they operate will be highlighted. The preliminary program can be found on the Forum's website. Says Jomery Nery.
“More than an event, the eoc Forum is a space where different realities and knowledge meet, where genuine connections are cultivated and bridges are built between opportunities and vulnerabilities”
This dynamic reflects the essence of the Economy of Communion, a global movement that for more than three decades has been dedicated to eradicating poverty through an economy guided by fraternity, social justice and the regeneration of ecosystems.
