The Benin EoC Commission organized an event to mark the 35th anniversary of the project
On Saturday, July 19, 2025, the Focolare Movement in Cotonou hosted a debate on the strengths and prospects of the Economy of Communion (EoC) on the occasion of its 35th anniversary.
Organized by the local EoC commission, the meeting brought together young entrepreneurs and students. The first part of the meeting focused on the motivations that led Chiara Lubich to found the EoC and the fundamental principles of this economic model based on solidarity, exchange, and the sharing of wealth. 
The second part was dedicated to concrete examples of business creation and management, while the third part highlighted the essential qualities necessary for a successful entrepreneurial venture.
The meeting concluded with a festive celebration, which included the cutting of the EoC 35th anniversary cake and a welcome cocktail.
