For too long, the economy has been shaped by relentless accumulation, exclusion, and exploitation. But what if we stopped, rebalanced, and repaired? Inspired by the Jubilee 2025 and the 800th anniversary of the Canticle of the Creatures, the Global Event of The Economy of Francesco 2025 calls on young people around the world to rethink the economy as a space for justice, peace, and care. It is time to give back what has been taken away from those who have been deprived of it: the earth, the fruits of labor, the dignity of time. The economy of the future cannot be based on overwork and inequality, but on the fair sharing of resources, the right to rest, and the renewal of social and environmental bonds.
Let us reclaim an economy where work serves life, rest is not a privilege but a right, and justice is not postponed.

From November 28 to 30, young people from around the world will gather in Rome for three days of dialogue, inspiration, and shared action at Castel Gandolfo (Rome, Italy).

Mornings 
will open with plenary sessions and round tables, animated by diverse voices and bold ideas. Throughout the day, participants will take part in thematic sessions, collaborative workshops, and the lively Ideas Fair—a space to share grassroots experiences, policy proposals, artistic contributions, and much more. There will also be time for reflection, spiritual depth, and community building. Every part of the program is an invitation to connect local stories to global challenges — and to turn ideas into action through concrete proposals, new alliances, and plans to take back to your communities.
