«COP27: What it was, what was achieved and what are the compromises to the future»
During the 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference new funding arrangement on loss and damage has been reached - a pooled fund for countries most affected by climate change - which has been hailed as a "historic moment".
Aware of the importance that these agreements can have for the planet and for the people suffering the consequences of climate change, the young people of The Economy of Francesco wanted to delve deeper into the meaning of these agreements, the impact they can generate and how they can be implemented.
The webinar, which will be held in English, will feature contributions from three panelists who closely followed and participated in COP27: Dolores Sánchez, Head of the Research and Reflection Section of the Dicastery for Integral Human Development, Lucia Capuzzi, Journalist of Avvenire, Annet Dianah Nannono, Founder and team leader, Farm &Art Space Community Initiative Buwunga.
