The Economy of Francesco, October 2, 2021: 200 young economists in Assisi and more than 40 meetings and workshops in as many cities around the world, with streaming starting at 1:30 p.m.
ASSISI (PERUGIA), OCTOBER 01 - Everything is ready in Assisi for the Global Event of The Economy of Francis, the international event that involves young people from all over the world in the search for a new economy on a human scale, for man. Tomorrow, October 2, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, the Domus Pacis of Santa Maria degli Angeli will host one of the more than 40 Hubs scattered around the world: more than 200 Italian girls and boys will discuss projects, proposals, and processes carried out during the year. Waiting for the official meeting at 1.30 p.m., in connection with Monte Frumentario in Assisi, and the video message of Pope Francis.
Tomorrow's meeting is the second for entrepreneurs, economists and changemakers, designed to share new paths while waiting to meet the Holy Father in Assisi in the autumn of 2022. To date, more than 40 cities around the 
world (including Shanghai, Bogota, Nairobi and Washington) will simultaneously host the EoF event. Initiatives that will culminate in the global online meeting from the city of Saint Francis on the YouTube channel of The Economy of Francis.
Confirmed is the presence, among others, of internationally renowned personalities with whom young people have built fruitful dialogues in recent months: Vandana Shiva, Jennifer Nedelsky, Partha Dasgupta, Sabina Alkine, Helen Alford and Jeffrey Sachs who will be present in Assisi. There will also be a contribution from scientist Stefano Mancuso, director of the Laboratory of Plant Neurobiology in Florence and, according to the New Yorker, one of the world changers.
