ECONOMIC@MIND: Behavioural Finance Between Interest and Relationality

Master's degree in Psychology

European University of Rome, 7th March 2014, Language: Italian, Advisor: Paolo Sorbi

The initial intention of the thesis was to analyze the current anthropological and moral crisis that causes a deep sense of being lost on both the individual and collective levels and consequently, the making of irrational choices. It seems now obvious that this great crisis will not be overcome until talking about the "good" of man is not re-started: "gift", "gratuitousness" and "communion" are words that may be considered old, but they must be called back into play and return to be part of our economy. They serve the creation of "another" type of economy where the roads of coexistence between profit and the economy of the gift are set forth, which is to be undertaken with a strong sense of relatedness.
