Luigino Bruni: Ecology in the encyclical

The 51st episode of the weekly series "The economic thought in Caritas in Veritate", aired on September 4 and 5, 2010, on Tele Ticino as part of "Caritas Insieme" (Caritas Together). In this episode, Luigino Bruni defines the Encyclical's thought on ecology as "guardianship ecology". He makes reference to the passage of Genesis when God entrusts the earth to man and woman and, then later, when Cain asks if he is his brother's keeper. They are not two separate tasks: taking care of the earth is inevitably linked with taking care of the other.
